Case study - Zodiac (2007)
The titles that should appear in a opening: actor credits, film title, publisher name. The order they appear in is: publisher name, main actor credits, film title and then secondary actor credits. The credits appear towards the bottom of the frame in a white thin typeface; this allows them to both blend in with the wider compositions while also retaining readability. the text fades out with a dissolving effect, turning some of the letters into rune-like symbols.

For our opening, the titles will appear over a series of street shots showing the progression of time. I believe presenting the titles in a similar way to to zodiacs would be appropriate. As for visual effects, I'd like use artificial intelligence driven upscaling from a reduced resolution to full hd to give the letters a seemingly organic connection to their surroundings. Here is a demo I made a couple years ago of this concept. ------------------------------>
In our use-case the lettering will be made more readable and clear than demonstrated.

This task has allowed us to more deeply understand the processes, both thought and practice, that go into effective title design. This greater understanding will enable us to apply creativity when designing our and bringing them into a sequence.
